New LIFE Puppet Ministry

The New LIFE Puppet Ministry began in 2004. They use humor, drama & music to reach people of all ages with a variety of puppets characters. In addition they like to use different lighting techniques such as black lights for different effects.

In February 2007 The Current Puppet Team members, along with: Michelle & Ward Phillips IV., Dave Hann, Jim Armold, & Dave & Tonya Karper traveled to Fayetteville Tennessee to build a playground for abused children living in a new Christian Children's home called Providence Place Children's Home. They built an entire playground, bought the children supplies and gifts, had a pizza party and the puppets performed live for all the children & caretakers.

Last season they have been performing at local nursing homes. The puppets perform and members of the team give gifts and pray with the seniors.

In June of 2009 the puppet ministry, drama team, and youth board teamed up to host New LIFE'S very first kids crusade for ages 3-10 celebrating school's out for the summer.

Currently they are preparing for a Christmas Performance that will touch hearts of all ages. They are set to perform on Sunday December 20th after the kids Christmas Performance.  

After Christmas they will be working on a 2 day show for a church near Pittsburg Pa.  

In the near future their goal is to team up again with other New LIFE ministries to host a 1 night Teen Crusade.

New LIFE Dance Ministry
Leader: Myriam Smith

The New LIFE Dance Ministry made their debut on Mother's Day of 2008. The girls ranged in ages from 4-17. They worked very hard to present the art of choreographed dance steps to music to honor the mothers at New LIFE and for all who were in attendance.

They did a second performance on Father's Day of 2008. The upbeat dance featured boys and father figures. The dance was choreographed to , " I am a Soldier In The Lords Army" Both performances received standing ovations!
